Outdoor Area

One of The Wendy House Children’s Day Nursery’s unique features is its large enclosed well equipped outdoor play area. Children of all ages and stages use the outdoor space as part of the daily routine, morning and afternoon.

This space includes a climbing frame and slide, bikes with a bike track, cars, balance beams, a play teepee, sand pit, stage area and equipment for water activities. All these facilities encourage children to explore and develop in all key areas of their learning – as well as to have plenty of fresh air, exercise and of course, have lots of fun. 

The Wendy House garden also has an artificial grass area, picnic benches and an all-weather deck with canopy, allowing us to make use of the outdoors in almost every kind of weather.
